Terms of use

The rules for using Ria's Colony School, its courses and its certificates.

Last updated 19 October 2026

Who we are

Ria's Colony School (school.riascolony.org) is run by Ria's Colony Ltd. By signing up or using the school, you agree to these terms.

Your account

Give your real name, email, country and phone number. The name you give is the one printed on your certificates.

One account per person. Don't share your account or sign-in codes. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

Courses and your time on them

Courses are free. We can add, change or remove courses at any time.

When you start a course you have 14 days to finish it. If you haven't passed by then, the course locks and you have 7 days to renew it for another 14 days with your progress kept. If you don't renew in that time, your progress and quiz tries on that course are cleared and you start again from the first lesson.

A course you have passed stays open for you to go back to.

Quizzes

Each course ends with a quiz. You need 75% or more to pass. You get 3 tries; if none pass, you go through the course again and get 3 new tries.

Take the quiz yourself. Don't share questions or answers, and don't use tools or other people to answer for you.

Certificates

A certificate shows that you finished one of our courses and passed its quiz. It is not a university degree or a government-accredited qualification.

Each certificate has a public page and code so others can check it. We can cancel a certificate that was earned by cheating or under someone else's name.

Course content

Our lessons, slides, videos, quizzes and downloads belong to Ria's Colony or the people who made them for us. You can use them for your own learning. Don't copy, sell, share or republish them, in full or in part, without our written permission.

Fair use

Don't try to break, overload or get around the school's systems, scrape its content, or use it to harm others. We can suspend or close accounts that do.

No guarantees

We work to keep courses accurate and useful, but we can't promise a course will get you a job, clients or any result. We aim to keep the school running, but it may sometimes be unavailable. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses from using the school.

Changes

We may update these terms. If you keep using the school after a change, the new terms apply.
